PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a secondary battery which enables the effective prevention of foreign material's immixture into the battery while preventing an electrode part from being expanded or delaminated; a method for manufacturing such a secondary battery; and a heat-bonding insulative film for secondary batteries.SOLUTION: A secondary battery comprises: an electrode body arranged by laminating a positive electrode member, a separator member and a negative electrode member in this order; and an outer sheath in which the electrode body is stored. The positive and negative electrode members each include a collector, and an active material layer formed on the collector to cover one end thereof. An insulator made of an insulative material which shows no stickiness at a room temperature is stuck to the collector included in the positive or negative electrode member by a sticking force of 1 N/15 mm or larger. A peripheral edge of the positive or negative electrode member has a section including the collector and the insulator. A heat-bonding insulative film for secondary batteries comprises: a base layer made of polyolefin; and an adhesive layer made of polyolefin modified by an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
