PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dose counter for use with a metered-dose inhaler comprising a container for medicaments equipped with reciprocal actuation means such as a valve.SOLUTION: A dose counter 200 comprises an indicator member 270, which is attached to a container for medicaments equipped with reciprocal actuation means such as a valve, operates along a first axis A (actuation axis) along which the reciprocal actuation means operates, and is rotatable about a second axis 271 disposed at an obtuse angle to the first axis. The indicator member is constructed and arranged to undergo predetermined rotational motion by a worm 300 rotating about a worm axis W in coordination with movement of the reciprocal actuation means, where the worm axis and the second axis do not intersect and are not disposed in perpendicular alignment relative to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
