Provided is a technique for suppressing the aging of oscillation frequency and obtaining a stable oscillation output in an oscillation device using a piezoelectric oscillator. In an OCXO 1 for outputting an oscillation frequency by oscillating a crystal oscillator, the corresponding relationship between an oscillation frequency and an elapsed time is obtained in an initial time after a first crystal oscillator 11 starts to oscillate. Based on the obtained result, data according to the following corresponding relationship between the accumulated elapsed time of the oscillation after the start of the oscillation and the oscillation frequency is obtained. A frequency setting value is then corrected on the basis of the accumulated elapsed time of the oscillation and this data. The output frequency of the first crystal oscillator 11 varies with elapsed time, but is corrected by a frequency correction value according to the accumulated elapsed time, so that the oscillation frequency becomes stable. |
