摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical article having characteristics of antistatic prevention and antireflection or reflection.SOLUTION: There is provided an optical article that contains a base material having at least one principal face on which antireflection or reflection coating is performed. The coating contains at least one conductive layer including at least 30% by weight of tin oxide (SnO) relative to the total weight of the conductive layer. The conductive layer is deposited by ion-assist welding, the base material has a water absorption rate of 0.6% by weight or more relative to the total weight of the base material, and the water absorption rate is measured after the base material is preliminarily dried, and then stored in a chamber at 50°C, a relative humidity of 100%, and atmospheric pressure for 800 hours.SELECTED DRAWING: None
