The present invention provides a method, device and system for activating a PDP/PDN context. By improving a selection method used for activating a PDP/PDN context, subscription information comprising different APNs is used when the PDP/PDN context is activated in multiple times, and therefore the problem that the types of user application services are not diverse enough due to the repeated use of an APN is solved, so that the range of the service types capable of being used by a user can be expanded, thereby improving the success rate of activations and the satisfaction degree of the user.
