The invention is based on system for processing electronic messages in which an operator can transmit and receive various types of electronic messages using just one processing module. The various types of electronic messages can have various attributes such as, for example, "read" and "unread", wherein not all the types can have the same attributes. In order to permit simple handling of attributes of electronic messages, it is proposed according to the invention that the system (11) contains assignment tables between various sets of attributes of the electronic messages. |
