A machining center that is configured so that a tool magazine (120) is accommodated inside a machine body on top of which a head moving device and a head lifting device are supported, and that is configured so as to have a magazine moving device that moves the tool magazine (120), so that the tool magazine (120) is moved forward to project from the front face of the machine body when exchanging tools, and so that a tool holder to be subject to an exchange from a plurality of tool holders is positioned in a region in which the main shaft is moved by the head moving device. The machining center is configured so as to allow the entire tool magazine (120) to be moved beyond the range in which the magazine moving device can move the tool magazine (120), to the outside of the machine body so that the tool magazine (120) can be removed from the machine body. |
