The present invention relates to a machine (1 } realised to apply shrink sleeve labels (2) on at least a column of containers (3) provided one after the other along a linear advancement direction (A), said machine (1 ) comprising: - supply means (12) for supplying said labels (2) to means for continuous application of the same labels (2) on every container (3); - means (5) for continuous advancement of said label (2) application means (5) along said linear advancement direction (A); - a system (4) for supporting and continuously moving at least one column of containers (3) along said linear advancement direction (A), each container (3) being supplied from above on said support and movement system (4); - heating means (7, 8) for said sleeve labels (2), provided along said support and movement system (4) of said containers (3), to obtain a partial or full shrinking of said sleeve labels (2) when applied on the relevant container (3); said means (5) for applying said sleeve labels (2) moving by said advancement means (6) so as to bring one of said labels (2) in correspondence of one of said containers (3) and being so configured to cause the displacement upward of said label (2) with respect to the relevant container (3) to apply the label (2) from the bottom on the same continuously moving container (3); and said heating means (7, 8) being configured so as to activate partial or full shrinking of said labels (2) with respect to said containers (3) when said labels (2) are applied on said containers (3) during the continuous transportation of said containers (3) by the relevant support and movement system (4). |
