a short-distance wireless communication unit; a selection unit configured to select one of a plurality of applications; a generation unit configured to generate data to be read out by an external apparatus, the data corresponding to an application selected by said selection unit; and a writing unit configured to write the data generated by said generation unit, into said short-distance wireless communication unit.
