According to the present invention, an apparatus for extracting a shape defect portion of a wire rod coil comprises: a apparatus frame provided on at least one side of a conveyor; and a defect extracting means which is provided on the apparatus frame, and extracts a shape defect portion of a wire rod coil in a vertically stepped section between conveyors. Accordingly, the present invention comprises the defect extracting means to extract the shape defect portion of the wire rod coil in the vertically stepped section between the conveyors to smoothly and safely perform a process for extracting the shape defect portion of the wire rod coil from the conveyors. Specifically, the present invention perfectly performs shape defect portion extraction work which is conventionally performed by a worker without inadequacy in comparison to a conventional technique to prevent loss caused by a line stopped by a shape defect portion caught in an accumulator and improve quality of a final product. Moreover, the shape defect portion of the wire rod coil which is hot can be safely extracted. |
