Abstract A high pressure water jet cleaning system substantially for domestic use comprising a cleaner body assembly, a removable water reservoir sitting on or within the assembly, a high pressure pump housed within the assembly, a 3-way valve within the assembly and in fluid connection on a first port to the inlet of the pump and on a second port to the removable water reservoir and on a third port to an external water supply connection point on the assembly, a fluid coupling system between the water reservoir and the 3-way valve such that the water reservoir can be removed from and reinstalled on or within the assembly quickly and conveniently and without the use of tools and without having to carry out a separate action to connect/disconnect the fluid coupling and without significant water leakage and without allowing air to enter the water supply line to the pump and wherein the pump draws water either from the reservoir through the fluid coupling system and the 3 way valve or from the external water supply connection point through the 3 way valve. 1%0 '4X |
