An automatic vending machine management control box includes a power supply unit including first and second solar panels, a battery charger module and first and second rechargeable battery sets, vending machine controller, peripheral apparatuses, and a power monitoring unit including a microcontroller for measuring the power level of the first and second rechargeable battery sets and controlling the battery charger module to charge the first and second rechargeable battery set, a power switch module controllable by the microcontroller to switch on/off the connection between the first rechargeable battery set, the second rechargeable battery set, the vending machine controller and each peripheral apparatus, and a current monitoring module for enabling the microcontroller to control the power switch module in cutting off power supply from each peripheral apparatus that is abnormal in power consumption, protecting the first and second rechargeable battery sets from over-discharge damage. |
