An air permeable surgical bandage comprises two outer layers of synthetic plastic foam or like foam material with an intermediate layer of elasticized net or creped or stretchable fabric bonded between them. The foam material may be polyurethane. The net or fabric may be made of rayon. The layers which are the same size are bonded together under pressure by liquid latex or a rubber solution with or without a curing agent. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 813,311.
