A surface jet pump (SJP) is located on the top of the riser from a subsea gas well, on the gas outlet of a separator. The SJP may be powered by high pressure gas available from an export compressor outlet or from its recycled gas stream. The SJP will lower the production separator pressure which will allow backpressure reduction and change of flow regime in the riser and piping. |
