PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control apparatus for a hydrostatic pressure assist vehicle which is equipped with a hydrostatic pressure assist mechanism and can securely prevent lock and overspeed of a fluid pressure pump/motor.SOLUTION: A control apparatus equipped with a pump/motor and an accumulator which are connected to a vehicle-loaded engine via a clutch, in which the pump/motor is driven as a pump to discharge a fluid pressure and perform a hydraulic regeneration in the accumulator thereby regenerating a deceleration energy when the vehicle is decelerated, while the pump/motor is driven as a motor to drive an engine by the fluid pressure accumulated in the accumulator when the vehicle is started and so on. In the control apparatus, a coupling command is outputted to the clutch before driving a fluid pressure pump motor (S10, S12, S14), determination as to whether predetermined conditions for estimating that the engine and the fluid pressure pump/motor are connected to each other are established or not is made (S16), and when it is determined that the predetermined conditions are established, motion of a solenoid selector valve is controlled (S18). |
