<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device which has a reduced variation in a liquid ejection characteristic when a driving signal is delayed by the recording device using the driving signal including the main and cancel pulses. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid ejection head apparatus is provided with: a plurality of discharge holes 8; a plurality of pressurizing chambers 10; a plurality of squeezings 12; a common flow path 5a; a plurality of pressurizing parts 50; and a control part 100 which makes droplets discharge by sending to the pressurizing part 50, a first driving signal to enlarge the volume of the pressurizing chamber 10 and then sending a second driving signal to lessen the volume and further, sending the second driving signal to a part of the pressurizing parts 50, the second driving signal after adding a delay time. The difference between the delay time and a propagation time required for transmitting pressure from one to the other of two pressurizing chambers 10 corresponding to two openings adjacent to each other among a plurality of openings connecting to the squeezings 12 of the common flow path 5a, is ≤AL/4 when the half of the characteristic vibration period of the liquid from the discharge hole to the squeezing is defined as AL. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
