The invention relates to a connector that prevents contact faults while allowing miniaturization. The connector 1 includes: a first holding portion 2 that is formed from two members including an upper portion and a lower portion and holds a first cable L1 including at least one first covered lead wire so that the first cable L1 extends from two ends of the first holding portion and a periphery of the first cable L1 is surrounded; a second holding portion 3 that includes an upper portion and a lower portion and holds at least one second covered lead L2 so that the at least one second covered lead L2 extends from at least one end of the second holding portion 3 and a periphery of the second covered lead L2 is surrounded; a body portion 4 that couples the first holding portion 2 and the second holding portion 3 and includes a predetermined number of terminals 63 for: connecting to at least one conductor of the at least one first covered lead L1 via at least one first aperture portion 33 provided in the lower portion of the first holding portion 2 and connecting to at least one conductor of the at least one second covered lead L2 via at least one second aperture portion 54 provided in the upper portion of the second holding portion 3. |
