The present invention relates to a water trap unit (9) for an outlet (1) and which comprises an inlet member (10) and a cup (11). The inlet member (10) includes a tubular or annular portion (20) which is directed down into the cup (11) such that water collected in the cup defines a water odour lock as long as the surface of the water lies above a lower edge (21) of the downwardly into the cup directed tubular or annular portion of the inlet member. The cup (11) has a depth (D) of 6-30 mm and the downwardly into the cup directed tubular or annular portion (20) of the inlet member (10) a length (L) of 1-25 mm for defining a water odour lock of 1-25 mm. |
