The present invention can provide a method for manufacturing a polarizer, which includes: a base plate forming step of including to form a metal layer, a guide layer, a hard mask layer, a sacrificial layer and a first photosensitive layer sequentially on a light transmissive substrate, in a panel region and an alignment key forming region which are separated spatially; a first photosensitive layer patterning step of including to form a first photosensitive layer pattern for protecting an alignment key pattern in the alignment key forming region by patterning the first photosensitive layer; a sacrificial layer patterning step of forming a sacrificial layer pattern in the alignment key forming region using the first photosensitive layer pattern as a mask; and a second photosensitive layer forming step of including to form a second photosensitive layer on an upper plane of the sacrificial layer pattern of the alignment key forming region before removing the sacrificial layer of a region of an aperture part of the panel region, and a polarizer manufacture from the same. The objective of the present invention is to solve a problem that an alignment key recognition fault occurs in a post process of forming a protective layer and a thin film transistor on an in-cell polarizer because the alignment key is deformed in a fine line width during a manufacturing process of the in-cell polarizer. |
