PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple tension-type horizontal main rope in which the horizontal main rope 1 can be tensed with a certain degree of tension without the use of a tensioner, and includes an explosion proof and flame proof structure.SOLUTION: A horizontal main rope 1 is constituted by twelve-rope (R) T comprising 12-strand structure with a hollow part 22 formed in the center of a rope cross section using high strength low elasticity fibers. One terminal 141 is folded back, and the terminal 141 is inserted into a hollow part 22 from a predetermined position of the rope outer surface. After being interpolated and polymerized, the terminal is projected to the outer surface of the rope and is inserted into the hollow part 22 again across a predetermined length. After performing the interpolation and polymerization (duplicate knitting), the terminal is projected to the outer surface of the rope, and thereby annular eye parts 13, interpolation parts 12 and terminal parts 14 are formed. Then, the other terminal 141 is constituted similarly. These eye parts 13 on both ends are connected to structures, and can be tensed between the structures by drawing the terminal parts 14 and reducing the eye parts 13. |
