摘要 According to the present invention, an apparatus for controlling a shift of a continuous variable transmission (CVT) comprises: a storing part; a speed confirming part; a resistance calculation part; and a control part. The storing part stores a shift characteristic map storing reference information obtained by measuring a vehicle′s speed value with respect to an acceleration position sensor (APS) value input in a state with no external resistance and a targeted revolutions per minute (RPM) value of a primary pulley with respect to the vehicle speed value and an external resistance value. The speed confirming part confirms the current vehicle speed value in accordance with driving of the vehicle. The resistance calculation part calculates the external resistance value applied to the current vehicle with reference to the confirmed vehicle speed value and the stored reference information. The control part deducts the goal RPM of the primary pulley with respect to the current vehicle speed value and the calculated external resistance value from the shift characteristic map and controls the primary pulley to rotate depending on the goal RPM.
