The present invention relates to an apparatus for cleaning a roll. The apparatus for cleaning a roll reciprocates between a plurality of upper rolls and lower rolls, and comprises: a main body; an upper and a lower cleaning device each installed on the main body and provided with a rotary brush; a rotational motor to rotate the rotary brush; and an elastic unit and a moving unit to tightly press the upper and the lower cleaning device on the upper and the lower rolls, respectively. Accordingly, foreign substances attached to the rolls are removed to prevent a flaw in a surface of a cast or a quality defect caused by including the foreign substances on the surface of the cast. |
