<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle grip of fishing reel in which a cover member can be insert molded in the outer periphery of a synthetic resin member where a hollow part is formed in an inner periphery of the grip. <P>SOLUTION: An insert member 34 includes: a cylindrical part 31; the hollow part 33 in which a tip side of the cylindrical part 31 is opened; and a grip part 32 formed on the outer periphery side of the hollow part 33.
