The invention discloses a device and method for providing containers with adhesive labels. According to the invention, a label strap is divided into label sections via tranverse penetration holes and are passed to a container via a transmission roller and an applying cloth roller which are rotating synchronously, wherein the separation of labels are conducted by a controlled rotation of the container during the passing. In addition, a circular ring buffer which is present according to the invention is operated by exhaust air of an air blower, and the exhaust air generates a low pressure of the label strap for aspiring the transmission roller and the applying cloth roller. |
