<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove dust adhering to the surface of a suction filter by vibration, and generate vibration without providing a special drive source. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel pump 2 provided in a fuel tank 1 includes a suction filter 5, a pump body 6, and a pressure regulator 8 or the like. In the pump body 6, an impeller 22 is rotated by a rotor shaft 21. A suction opening 25a of the rotor shaft 21 of the pump body 6 is connected to the suction filter 5. A rotor 30 is provided in the suction filter 5 which rotates by the fuel flowing toward the suction opening 25a, and the rotor 30 is integrated with an eccentric weight 32. The rotor 30 generates vibration by rotation. The vibration is transmitted to the suction filter 5 so as to vibrate the surface of the suction filter 5 and remove the dust 15 adhering thereto. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
