The invention relates to a device (D) dedicated to reinforcing a bulkhead (TV) of a vehicle, comprising an internal face (FI) having a first conformation. This device (D) comprises: a metal cross-member reinforcement (RT) displaying a thickness and a second conformation adapted to the first conformation, having at least one notch (EC) on at least two peripheral edges (BPR1, BPR2) and - a metal bulkhead side cross-member (TL) having a third conformation adapted to the first and second conformations, and having on at least two peripheral edges (BPT1, BPT2) a drilled shaft (ST) having a depth that is substantially equal to or exceeding the thickness thereof, such that the cross-member reinforcement may either be housed in a notch (EC) matching the cross-member reinforcement (RT), when said RD is interposed between the bulkhead side cross-member (TL) and the bulkhead (TV) rigidly attached to the internal face (FI) of said bulkhead (TV), or rigidly connected to this internal face (FI) when the cross-member reinforcement (RT) is not in use. |
