PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alpha-keto oxime ester compound having high sensitivity with the maximum UV absorption near 365 nm and 405 nm and having excellent developability, adhesiveness and alkali resistance, and a photopolymerization initiator containing the above compound.SOLUTION: The alpha-keto oxime ester compound is useful as a photoinitiator for a photo-crosslinking reaction, and includes a methylbenzene group bonded to a carbon atom that forms a double bond with a nitrogen atom in an alpha-keto oxime ester structure. The compound has excellent solubility with a solvent and photosensitivity. The photoinitiator can be used for a black resist, color resist, overcoat, column spacer, organic insulating film or the like of an LCD. |
