<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress co-rotation of a boot of a constant velocity universal joint while suppressing the number of components and saving a space. <P>SOLUTION: A constant velocity universal joint 1 includes an outer joint member 2, an inner joint member 3, a ball 4 as a torque transmission member, a shaft 6, and a boot 9. The boot 9 has a large diameter end 9a and a small diameter end 9b relatively rotatably mounted on the outer joint member 2 and the shaft 6, respectively, via bearings 7, 8. Since the boot 9 is entirely made of metal, the shape of the boot 9 in the state of being mounted on the outer joint member 2 and the shaft 6 forming an operation angle α can be maintained by rigidity of the metal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
