<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipoint inspection apparatus and method in which a number of spots can be inspected in a shortest time or in a short time close thereto by using both a single-borehole tool and a multi-borehole tool. <P>SOLUTION: A multipoint inspection apparatus comprises a single-borehole tool 14a, a multi-borehole tool 14b, a positioning device 12 which positions any one of the tools with respect to a borehole 2, and a storage device 18 which stores a center position of each borehole 2 and a position of an interference object 4. The center position of each borehole 2 and the position of the interference object are displayed (A) and when the order of inspecting designated boreholes 2 passes through the position of the interference object, boreholes before and after the designated boreholes are handled as another line (B). If a number (m) of boreholes included in each line of the inspection order is smaller than a number (k) of boreholes to be inspected simultaneously by the multi-borehole tool 14b, the use of the single-borehole tool 14a and the order of boreholes 2 based on the inspection order are determined (C). In the case of m≥k, the use of the multi-borehole tool 14b and the order of holes 2 for each piece of (k) boreholes based on the inspection order are determined and final one or more boreholes less than (k) are determined as boreholes to be inspected simultaneously by the multi-borehole tool 14b (D). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
