<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flocculating sedimentation apparatus capable of preventing the concentration of sludge in a sedimentation tank from rising to a necessary degree or above and capable of stabilizing the concentration of SS in an inorganic flocculant reaction tank to obtain stable flocculation capacity. <P>SOLUTION: The flocculating sedimentation apparatus 1 includes an inorganic flocculant reaction tank 12 for flocculating to-be-flocculated substances in to-be-processed water and a polymeric flocculant reaction tank 14, a sedimentation tank 16 for sedimenting and separating sludge in outflow water from the polymeric flocculant reaction tank 14, a sludge regeneration tank 18 for adding at least either one of an acid and alkali to the sludge withdrawn from the sedimentation tank 16 to subject the sludge to regeneration treatment, a sludge regeneration tank supply pipe 22 for supplying the sludge withdrawn from the sedimentation tank 16 to the sludge regeneration tank 18, an inorganic flocculant reaction tank return pipe 26 for returning the sludge in the sludge regeneration tank 18 to the inorganic flocculant reaction tank 12, and a polymeric flocculant reaction tank return pipe 28 connected to the return pipe 26 and returning a part or the whole of the sludge passing through the return pipe 26 to the polymeric flocculant reaction tank 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
