摘要 |
The invention comprises vat dyes containing an acyl residue derived from a dicarboxylic acid containing at least one oxdiazole residue, and in which the -CO - groups of the acyl residue are attached to the nitrogen atoms of aminoanthraquinone residues. They are made by condensing two mols of an aminoanthraquinone or one mol each of two different aminoanthraquinones with one mol of a reactive derivative of a dicarboxylic acid as above. Any free amino groups in the products may be acylated with monocarboxylic acids. The products may be used as such or as leuco-ester salts for dyeing or printing wool, silk, cotton, linen, artificial silk, regenerated cellulose, and nylon. Examples describe the condensation of 1 - aminoanthraquinone, 1 - amino-4 - or 5 - benzoylaminoanthraquinone - 1 - amino - 4 - methoxy-anthraquinone, and 1 - amino - 5 - (21 - fluorobenzoylamino) - anthraquinone with the dichlorides of acids of the following formula:- <FORM:0762149/IV(b)/1> <FORM:0762149/IV(b)/2> <FORM:0762149/IV(b)/3> <FORM:0762149/IV(b)/4> which substances are prepared according to Specification 746,047 [Group IV(b)] |
