The present invention relates to a boil-off gas (BOG) reliquefaction system, which is applied to a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU), and a BOG reliquefaction method using the same and, more specifically, to a BOG reliquefaction system for an FSRU, which reliquefies BOG by exchanging the BOG with liquefied natural gas discharged from a storage tank through heat, and a BOG reliquefaction method. According to the present invention, the BOG reliquefaction system reliquefies BOG without additional equipment for reliquefying the BOG, by reliquefying the BOG through the heat-exchange with the liquefied natural gas using a reliquefier installed in the FSRU, thereby the present invention is economical.
