The present invention provides a method for integrally operating small libraries which enables user to rent information medium such as books, DVD, and the like using the Internet. The present invention comprises a server having a webpage, an operating program, a database for managing stocks, a database for managing the rental, and the like and a terminal for managing the rental and connected to an information communication network. The present invention comprises: a rental application information input step of inputting rental application information, recording the rental application information, changing stock data, and approving a rental application; a rental information input step of inputting the rental information and recording the rental information; and a return information input step of inputting return information, recording the return information, and changing the stock data. The small libraries may expand the information medium possession amount by integrally operating the information medium possessed by a plurality of libraries. The usage rate of the information medium possessed by each library is considered. |
