Disclosed is a user terminal device which can automatically add general information related to corresponding content to a text input screen when writing a message for content a user of the terminal device is watching. The user terminal device of the present invention comprises: a first communications unit for receiving information on content which is displayed by a display device; a second communications unit for communicating with an external device; a display unit for displaying a screen on which text is inputted; an input unit for receiving the text and a user command; and a control unit for adding the tag information corresponding to the content information to the screen on which the text is inputted to display the same when the content information is received by the first communications unit, and controlling the second communications unit to transmit the text to which the tag information is added to the external device.
