<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability in case of integrating a function of a braking operator with an accelerating operator. <P>SOLUTION: The acceleration/deceleration controller controls acceleration and deceleration of a vehicle corresponding to an operation position S of an accelerator pedal 8, wherein the control characteristics of acceleration/deceleration corresponding to an operation position S are changed between a case of increasing operation and a case of decreasing operation. In case of increasing operation, the control characteristics conform to approach-route control characteristics that a target acceleration/deceleration G increases from zero to a predetermined positive-side maximum acceleration/deceleration G<SB POS="POST">MAX</SB>when an operation position S of the accelerator pedal 8 increases from an non-operation position S<SB POS="POST">0</SB>to a maximum operation position S<SB POS="POST">MAX</SB>. In case of decreasing operation, the control characteristics conform to return-route control characteristics that a target acceleration/deceleration G decreases from an upon-detecting-decreasing-operation acceleration/deceleration Gd to a predetermined negative-side minimum acceleration/deceleration G<SB POS="POST">MIN</SB>when an operation position S of the accelerator pedal 8 decreases from an upon-detecting-decreasing-operation operation position Sd to the non-operation position S<SB POS="POST">0</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
