<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display annotation at a proper position of a stereoscopic image. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device in an embodiment displays a first superposition disparity image formed by superposing a first disparity image for displaying a stereoscopic image of annotation and a second disparity image for displaying a stereoscopic image of an object, so as to stereoscopically display a superposition stereoscopic image formed by superposing the stereoscopic image of the annotation and the stereoscopic image of the object. Also, when a third disparity image for displaying the stereoscopic image of the object is generated at a disparity angle different from that of the second disparity image, a fourth disparity image for displaying the stereoscopic image of the annotation is generated according to the changed disparity angle. Also, a second superposition disparity image formed by superposing the fourth disparity image and the third disparity image is generated.
