<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and an image processing program capable of separating the foreground and background in an image more reliably when compared with a case not having this configuration. <P>SOLUTION: When a determination is made in a pixel value determination unit 11 that the pixel value of a target pixel is out of a predetermined range from a first threshold, a foreground/background determination unit 13 determines whether the target pixel belongs to foreground or background by comparing the pixel value of the target pixel with the first threshold. When a determination is made in the pixel value determination unit 11 that the pixel value of a target pixel is in a predetermined range from the first threshold, a determination is made as to whether the target pixel belongs to foreground or background by extracting an average pixel value from the pixel values of pixels in a predetermined range including the target pixel, as a feature value, in a feature value extraction unit 12, and then comparing the pixel value of the target pixel with a second threshold set according to the average pixel value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
