The invention provides a chewable pharmaceutical tablet comprising calcium, magnesium and, optionally, vitamin D (e.g. vitamin D3) for use in the treatment or prophylaxis of bone-related disorders. This product, in which calcium and magnesium are present at a weight ratio in the range from 3:1 to 5:1, more preferably 3.5:1 to 4.5:1, e.g. about 4:1,has been shown to be particularly suitable for use in treating and/or preventing osteoporosis in females aged 70 years and over. |
