According to the present invention, a navigation device and a method thereof are provided. In addition, a method to operate a navigation system including a navigation device, a data server, and an electronic device is provided. The navigation device of the present invention comprises: a communication unit, a display, an input unit which receives data input; and a control unit which controls operations of the communication unit, the display, and the input unit. The control unit connects to a data server through the communication unit and requests a path set-up information to the data server, and receives the path set-up information from the data server and obtains a current location information of the navigation device; and obtains a user moving path by reflecting the obtained location information and the received path set-up information, and sets the user moving path as a guiding path. This path set-up information is generated from other electronic device or the data server based on a user input information inputted from an other electronic device. |
