Provided is a light emitting element display device which comprises a display region (320) which has an organic insulating layer which includes an organic insulating material and matrix-type pixels having light emitting regions which emit light for oneself, a peripheral circuit region (340) which is around the display region, has a circuit using a metal line or a thin film transistor, and an organic insulating layer, and a blocking region (330) which is formed between the display region and the peripheral circuit region. The blocking region has:a first blocking region (332) which has an electrode layer which covers the display region, is one of two electrodes for making the light emitting region emit light, and is formed from the display region, and is made of only an inorganic material layer from the electrode layer to an insulting layer as a substrate; and a second blocking region (331) which includes layers of the first blocking region and a light-emitting organic layer. |
