THERMOPLASTIC VEHICLE-MOUNTED SUNROOF PANEL MADE UP A COMPOSITE PLASTIC SURGERY TO HAVE A LOW BIREFRINGENCE

The present invention relates to a sunroof panel for a vehicle which is formed by curing a thermoplastic molding composition. The thermoplastic molding composition comprises a polycarbonate resin; 10-900 parts by weight of a polyester copolymer formed by copolymerization of glycol-modified polyethylene terephthalate and isosorbide with respect to 100 parts by weight of the polycarbonate resin; and 5-500 parts by weight of polycyclohexane terephthalate with respect to 100 parts by weight of the polycarbonate resin. In regard to the glycol-modified polyethylene terephthalate, ethylene glycol is partially substituted with cyclohexane dimethanol. The isosorbide is copolymerized with the glycol-modified polyethylene terephthalate and is partially substituted for or added to the ethylene glycol and the cyclohexane dimethanol. The surface of the sunroof panel for a vehicle is coated with a silane-based coating liquid so as to improve surface hardness. According to the present invention, a sunroof panel for a vehicle with excellent flame retardancy, weather resistance, chemical resistance and wear resistance can be obtained by using a polycarbonate-based thermoplastic molding composition which shows birefringence being zero or close to zero and also has excellent flame retardancy.
