The present invention relates to a charge pump type voltage converter. Power reduction in a high voltage more than or equal to 10 V can be small and durability in the latch-up can be improved since a PMOS device is used only. In other words, in the voltage converter of the present invention, two or more voltage conversion units including well-bias in each PMOS device are connected in series by being composed of PMOS devices which are connected with a serial-parallel structure, a driving capacitor, and a charge capacitor. First and second signal input units successively input an operation signal to each voltage conversion unit among the voltage conversion units. Thus, the present invention solves a problem of the reduction of efficiency due to the increase of stages even though the switching is executed by using an existing diode or an NMOS device, by serially connecting two or more voltage conversion units including the well-bias in each of the PMOS devices. Moreover, a body effect can be sharply improved since an optimum body voltage is applied by the well-bias to each stage and voltage conversion efficiency can be maximized. |
