Disclosed is a method for transmitting and receiving an ultrasonic wave signal. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for transmitting and receiving an ultrasonic wave signal by a sound output apparatus comprises the following steps of: receiving C (=N/M) data symbols and generating N data symbols by repeating the C data symbols on a C cycle; carrying the C data symbols on C subcarrier groups which are spaced apart from each other at predetermined M intervals among the N subcarriers of the non-audible band, as the N data symbols are carried on N subcarriers of a non-audible band by performing a predetermined phase rotation for each of the N data symbols; and outputting, as sound, a result signal obtained by converting a signal, in which an ultrasound wave signal carrying the C data symbols and an audio signal of an audible band are combined, into an analog signal. |
