The present invention relates to a friction stir welding tool unit which can prevent a welding defect such as an end hole on a welding end point when friction stir welding. The friction stir welding tool unit is linked and mounted on a spindle provided on a welding head of a friction stir welding device. The friction stir welding tool unit comprises: a rotor which forms a shoulder unit on a lower end surface thereof, and is mounted and fixed on a lower end of a spindle to rotate along the spindle; a probe which is arranged in a first lifting guide hole vertically penetrating the rotor to be lifted and lowered while rotating along the spindle, and protrudes to the outside of the shoulder unit or is inserted into the rotor; and a lifting means to lift and lower the probe.
