PURPOSE:To form images on both faces of a transfer material within a short time by forming an image on the 1st face of the transfer material by a 1st image forming means and then forming an image on the 2nd face by a 2nd image forming means. CONSTITUTION:Transfer paper is carried by a 1st transfer guide 18 an image formed on a photosensitive drum 1 is transferred to the transfer paper by a transferring electrostatic charger 5. The transfer paper to which said image is transferred is separated from the drum 1 by a separating charger 6, carried by a carrying belt 8 and sent from the 2nd transfer guide 19 to the 2nd photosensitive drum 11. A toner image with positive polarity formed on the drum 11 is transferred to the rear face of the carried transfer paper by a transfer charger 15 charged with negative polarity. Thereby, it is unnecessary to carry the transfer paper forming an image on one side again to an image transfer part to form another image on the rear face, so that images on both the sides can be formed within a short time. |
