The present invention relates to a connecting device for a railway vehicle. An objective of the present invention is to photograph a gap between connectors of railway vehicles in real time and display correction image information including distance data on a monitor in real time to connect the gap between the connectors of the railway vehicles without an additional helper and a defect, and improve safety since an obstruction outside the railway vehicles can be indicated by the monitor. To achieve the objective, the connecting device for a railway vehicle comprises: a camera mounted on the outside of an engine locomotive to photograph a vehicle connector in real time when connecting a passenger car or a freight car to the engine locomotive; a central processing device to store image information transmitted from the camera, and add distance data to the image information to generate correction image information; and a monitor mounted in a driver seat space of the engine locomotive to display the correction image information transferred from the central processing device. |
