The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for controlling interference in a mobile communications system. In a mobile communications system, a signal transmission apparatus: transmits data to a first signal reception apparatus by using a plurality of channels; receives, from a second signal reception apparatus, information indicating whether at least one channel of the channels exists as an interference channel in the second signal reception apparatus; receives, from the second signal reception apparatus, interference control information to control interference to the second signal reception apparatus in accordance with the received information; and generates interference control data based on the interference control information and transmits the same to the first signal reception apparatus. Therefore, interference can be efficiently controlled in a mobile communications system.
