Provided are a noninvasive apparatus for testing liver function and a noninvasive method for testing the liver function. The noninvasive apparatus for testing the liver function comprises: a light source which emits light on a subject; a raw data extracting part which extracts raw data related to at least one target material constituting the subject using information on the light from the subject; and a data processing part which extracts information related to the liver function from the raw data, which has a correlation with at least one target material.
