The present invention relates to a payment method and system using a linkage between a payment terminal and multi PIN pad devices, and more specifically, to a payment method and system, wherein a payment terminal and PIN pad devices are wirelessly linked to each other in a ratio of 1:N to process payments in parallel, thereby minimizing waiting time of a customer for payment. The payment method using a linkage between a payment terminal and multi-PIN pad devices according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the following steps of: registering multiple PIN pad devices composed of a PIN pad and a sign pad for each, which are wirelessly linked to a payment terminal and assigned unique IDs, and waiting for a payment request; generating an offspring processor inside, which performs payment processing by being linked to the PIN pad device requesting a payment when the payment terminal receives the payment request from the PIN pad device; registering the PIN pad device for use on the payment terminal; performing payment processing between the PIN pad device and a server of a financial agency on the offspring processor; and deleting the offspring processor on the payment terminal when the payment processing is completed, registering the PIN pad device as an idle PIN pad device, and then waiting for a payment request. |
