The present invention relates to a valve seat and an injection valve having a valve needle extending along an axial direction. The valve needle can be moved along the axial direction between an opening position and a closing position. A valve closing body is fixated to the valve needle in an end portion area of the valve needle toward the valve seat. The valve closing body forms a sealing seat along with a valve seat surface of the valve seat in a closing position of the valve needle. The valve seat has an injection port downstream in the sealing seat. The valve closing body has a flat area, and the flat area is coupled to an end portion area of the valve needle. |
